About Me

My journey in the world of maternal care started in a lactation consultation office in 2018 as an administrator, where I got to know many new parents over the years. I noticed a running theme that broke my heart over and over: so many needed better support during their perinatal journey. I realized my path had brought me here for a reason, and I began my training in 2020.

Currently, I am a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula through the Madriella Network, and have been trained as a Childbirth and New Parent Educator. Please check my FAQ page for a full list of my credentials and continuing education!

My approach to supporting my clients involves staying up-to-date in evidence-based research and information (modern knowing), and a deeper understanding of connection and the human spirit (instinctual knowing). Bonding with my families and finding what works for them is one of the aspects of this work I love the most. I believe in and have so much passion for supporting whatever kind of journey you want to take. I believe strongly in being culturally humble, mental health forward, and trauma-informed. I often like to stay in-touch with my clients after our work together is done, because I genuinely do care about the families I'm lucky enough to work with!

Outside of the birth world, I'm an animal enthusiast (dogs to the front though), I love to roller skate, and I spend way too much time with an embroidery hoop or crochet hook in my hand.
